So in a few days I'll be taking off to start a COMPLETELY new life! I'm reeeeaaaally excited, but at the same time maybe a little scared ... There's lots I need to get done ... I gotta sell my Piano, get my passport renewed and all, figure out a way to get to Lille from Amsterdam ... (I'm thinking of taking the train) ... I need to get to know Lille a little, so I can find myself a decent (and safe) place to live for the next few years ... I gotta start practicing my French ... umm, what else?

Oh, and I also need to get a new laptop ... (searchin' for a good laptop's been really exciting so far!) I basically need something really light and portable, with decent performance ... I'm down to a couple choices now. I'll either go with a Sony Z, or a Thinkpad X301, both of which are a little over my budget. The problem with the Sony laptop though is that I'm not sure if I'll be able to dual-boot it with linux. But then I also can't trust Thinkpad, as my T61's almost died after a couple years of use (although I might have been a bit careless with it too, but still :P) Another possibility is a Dell Adamo ... but so far Sony' been my favorite ...
