I usually pass by the Toronto Camera Club on Mount Pleasant, but I've never had a chance to actually go inside and check it out.
It looks pretty old-fashioned. Right beside an old theatre that reminds me of Tehran's Cinemas. I always thought it's probably not active anymore or if it is, it's just meant for analog photographers.
Founded in 1888, it's the first camera club in Canada, and hence the way it looks; but turns out it's always kept pretty active.
They've got a decent website . You can become a member and attend their monthly lectures through out the year. You can take your photos in get some nice feedback on your work, or even compete in their club competitions.
I wonder if sam is a member, or has ever checked the place out at some point...
