I miss my iron ring!
Even though a very dear friend is currently wearing it, I miss wearing one!
Can't wait till I get a replacement this week.
There's a secret feeling of pride to it here ... or ... so I feel :P

I'm sitting at sbux right now, and a couple engineers are sitting right next to me; I kinda wish I had my ring on ... don't know why ... so can't really explain :S

I saw a buncha engineering FROSH on the way, all painted in purple! oh it just brought back so many good memories ... I got so nostalgic all of a sudden (I do have that tendency!!!) They're crossing in the opposite direction and as I'm passing them by I go:

• Where's your helmet ?


• What's that?


• Where's your yellow helmet?


• Oh, I was told not to bring it!!! are you also in engineering? (he wouldn't have asked that question had I had my ring on)


• Yeah ... well, done now, (coulda just shown my ring instead;)) ... have fun at FROSH night!!!

Ma bague d'ingenierie me manque beaucoup! Alors meme que j'ai le laisse avec une amie chere, je dois obtenir un replacement pourtant! Il y a une fierte secrete dans la bague ... jsais pas ... Peut-etre jsuis unique a penser comme ca.

Je m'assois a starbucks maintenant, et deux ingenieres sont en train de parler a cote de moi. Je voulais la porter encore ...

Quand j'etais en train de me promener ici, j'ai vu certains des etudiants FROSH (des etudiants de premiere annee d'ingenierie a l'universite de Toronto). Ils avaient eux-meme peint violet, comme la tradition. Les voir m'ai souveni becoup de bon memoires. J'ai commence a me sentir nostalgique tout d'un coup! J'ai cette tendance ...

update: J'ai obtenu ma bague aujourd'hui! yaaaay :D
